INVITATION TO BID SOUTH HILLS AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS Sealed proposals will be received by the South Hills Area Council of Governments (SHACOG), Allegheny County, PA until 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2020 to be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter for the following: 1. Inspection and Service Testing of Fire Hose 2. Inspection and Service Testing of Ground Ladders 3. Inspection and Service Testing of Aerial Devices 4. Performance Testing of Fire Pumps Specifications, instructions to proponents and proposal forms may be obtained at the SHACOG office, 2600 Old Greentree Road, Carnegie, PA 15106-3732, 412-429-1130. All proposals must be sealed and addressed to South Hills Area Council of Governments and must have the words PROPOSAL FOR_____ marked on the outside of the envelope. Each proposal must be in a separate sealed envelope. SHACOG, its member municipalities, and the fire departments in those municipalities reserve the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any minor discrepancies in the proposal or specifications when deemed to be in the best interest of SHACOG, the municipality or the fire department.
