DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. Plans and specifications will be avail- able on Thursday, July 9, 2020. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF BEAVER, U.S. Government Bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable securities in an amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. All required Contract Docu- ments must be completed and submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance, la- bor and material, and main- tenance bonds of 100% with good and sufficient surety, and will be required to provide same within ten (10) days of contract award. Prior to award of any contract the Housing Authority will conduct a pre-contract survey of a Bidder's past perform- ance. Consideration will be given to such matters as bid- ders' integrity, compliance with the public policy, record of past performance, and fi- nancial and technical resources.
