DOCUMENT 00 01 50 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Advertisement for Bid Phase 3 Interior Improvements at Parkway West Career & Technology Center 7101 Steubenville Pike Oakdale, PA 15071 Architect: McLean Architects LLC 809 Bingham Street Pittsburgh, PA 15203 Project #: MA 1920 Date: January 10, 2020 The Parkway West Career & Technology Center is requesting bids for four separate Prime Contracts; General Contract, Plumbing Contract, Mechanical Contract and Electrical Contract. General Contract Work to include but not limited to renovation of Main Building existing toilet rooms including wall, floor and ceiling finishes, concrete floor demolition, concrete floor refinishing, and door hardware replacement and window replacement at the Annex Building. Plumbing Contract includes but not limited to fixture and plumbing replacement. Mechanical Contract includes but not limited to replacement of mechanical units. Electrical Contract includes but not limited to power and lighting upgrades. The Parkway West Career & Technology Center will receive sealed bids until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020, in the Business Office Conference Room, 7101 Steubenville Pike, Oakdale, PA 15071, where they will be stamped with the time and date. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and read aloud shortly thereafter. Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words, Bid for Project MA 1920: Phase 3 Interior Improvements at Parkway West Career & Technology Center. Work will commence on a written "Notice to Proceed" (NTP) from the Owner or his representative and will be substantially complete no later than August 7, 2020. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the Architect's Office where sets may be obtained upon payment of $125 per set for paper documents and $35 for PDF files of documents on a cd. Bidding Documents will be sent upon receipt of payment. Faxed copies of checks are not acceptable. No refund will be made for the return of any documents. Bidding Documents are also on file at the Pittsburgh Builders Exchange and Dodge Data. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the site on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interested parties should attend. This Project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Bid and a Non-Collusive Affidavit must accompany each Bid.
